These terms apply to BharatTax.net and gst.bharattax.net, operated by Neo Learnings Private Limited, India. By using either site you agree to them.

What the service is

BharatTax is a research tool for Indian tax case law. It publishes judgments of courts and tribunals, together with material we generate from them: summaries, citation counts, section pages and search.

Not legal advice

Nothing on these sites is legal or tax advice. Summaries, headnotes and other material marked as AI-generated are produced automatically and can be wrong or incomplete. Always read the judgment itself, and check it against the official source, before relying on it. Judgments are reproduced as extracted from the published orders and may contain errors introduced in that process.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what is done through your account. One account is for one person; sharing a paid account is not permitted.

Free tier and subscriptions

• Signed-in readers on the free tier can read a limited number of full judgments each month.
• A paid plan gives full access for the period bought. Prices are shown in Indian rupees and include GST.
• Plans are one-time payments for a fixed period. They do not renew automatically; you renew by paying again, and time already paid for is kept when you renew early.
• If you are charged twice or in error, write to us and we will refund the amount wrongly charged. Otherwise, fees for a period that has already started are not refundable.

Acceptable use

You may use the sites for your own research and professional work, and quote from them with attribution. You may not scrape or bulk-download the sites, resell or republish our summaries or other generated material, attempt to get around the free-tier limit, or interfere with the service.

Availability

We work to keep the service available and accurate but do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or complete. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the service; our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.

Changes and ending

We may change these terms or the service. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using the service or ask us to close your account at any time.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India.
