This is an appeal preferred by the assessee against the order of Ld. CIT(A)-XIV, Kolkata dated 10.02.2014 for AY 2004-05.

Though none appeared for the assessee, we take note that vide letter dated 24.01.2017, the Director of the assessee company conveyed their desire to withdraw the aforesaid appeal. The Ld. DR does not have any objection in assessee withdrawing the appeal. Therefore, we are inclined to allow the said request of the assessee and the appeal stands dismissed as withdrawn. 3.
