आदेश / O R D E R
PER ABY T. VARKEY, JM: This is an appeal preferred by the assessee Trust against the order
of the Learned Commissioner of Income Tax (Exemptions), (hereinafter in
short ‘the Ld.CIT(E)’), Chennai, dated 26.02.2024 denying registration
u/s.80G(5) of the Income Tax Act, 1961 (hereinafter in short ‘the Act’).
At the outset, we note that the assessee (Kongu Social Spiritual
Educational & Cultural Foundation) has filed letter dated 12.06.2024
seeking withdrawal of the appeal. Since the Ld.CIT-DR does not object,
ITA No.1120/Chny/2024 (AY -) Kongu Social Spiritual Educational & Cultural Foundation :: 2 :: we allow the prayer of the assessee and allow the assessee to withdraw the appeal.
In the result, appeal filed by the assessee is dismissed as withdrawn.
