The appeal filed by the assessee is directed against the order dated 21.11.2023
of the Ld. Commissioner of Income Tax (Appeals)/NFAC, Delhi [“CIT(A)”]
pertaining to Assessment Year (“AY”) 2015-16. 2. None appeared for the assessee when the matter was called for hearing on 04.03.2025. It was however brought to the notice of the Bench that the assessee has filed an application seeking withdrawal of the captioned appeal.
The assessee has filed an application dated 08.02.2025 requesting for withdrawal of the appeal on the ground that the assessee has availed benefit of Direct Tax Vivad Se Vishwas Scheme, 2024 and has submitted declaration in Form 1 on 23.01.2025 which has been accepted by the Department and Form 2 has also been issued. A copy of Form 1 and Form 2 is enclosed evidencing the same. 4. The Ld. DR has no objection for withdrawal of the appeal. AYs 2015-16
In view of the above, we accept the request of the assessee for withdrawal of the appeal and the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn. 6. In the result, the appeal of the assessee is dismissed.
