This appeal is by the assessee challenging the order of the Principal Commissioner of Income-tax, BNG-5, Bangalore [PCIT] passed u/s. 263 of the Income-tax Act, 1961 [the Act] dated 29.3.2019.

At the time of hearing, the ld. counsel for the assessee stated that the assessee does not intend to pursue the appeal before the Tribunal and requested for withdrawal of the appeal. In this connection, a letter dated 8.3.2022 by the assessee is filed on record. Being so, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.

In the result, the appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
