CIT(A)”], dated 29.01.2026 for the Assessment Year (A.Y.) 2023-24.
At the outset, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the assessee sought leave to withdraw this appeal. Ld. Counsel submitted that the assessee filed appeal originally which was numbered as ITA No. 2994/Mum/2026. However, as there were defects in Form No. 36,
ITA 4259/MUM/2026 Jaanvi Pratik Kishnani
the assessee was required to file revised Form No. 36. The assessee instead of filing revised Form No. 36 filed altogether a new appeal which is nothing but a duplicate appeal which is numbered as ITA No. 259/Mum/2026.
Having considered the submission of the learned counsel for the assessee and upon perusal of the record, we find merit in the request so made. Since the present appeal is nothing but a duplicate appeal came to be filed as explained above, the same is dismissed as withdrawn. 4. In the result, appeal of the assessee is dismissed.
