To conclude, we note that the price difference, as observed by the assessing officer can occur for variety of reasons, including the business needs, quality of goods, location of goods and bargaining capacity of the parties. Besides, except the transactions, specified u/s 40A(2)(b) of the Act, the assessing officer has indeed no authority to substitute the rate
