section 40A (3) of the Act on account of cash payment exceeding Rs. 20000/- in a day. Thus, the AO exceeded his jurisdiction by extending the scope of verification and consequently in making the disallowances on account of cash payment. 10. However the learned CIT (A) confirmed the order of the AO by observing as under: “The reply
